Lieb House by Venturi & Rauch

The Lieb House was designed by Venturi & Rauch and completed in 1969. In 2009, the owners of the house found that they couldn’t afford to keep the house. The house was set for demolition. Had it not been for Venturi and Scott Brown’s son, Jim Venturi, the Lieb house would have been torn down. Since then, it has undergone a transformation into a guest house located at Glen Cove, New York. To find out more about Lieb house’s history, watch the film ‘Saving Lieb House’.
